   I would like to thank you for a wonderful course. Your kindness and generosity as a teacher make every class both enjoyable and productive. You give us solid, practical knowledge each week, while keeping the lessons grounded, well directed and free from information overload. This allows us to properly absorb and use what we learn.
   The format of two hours each week, combined with excellent homework challenges, works particularly well. It reinforces the learning and helps translate theory into practice.
   I also really appreciate the way you have structured and paced the material. Each week, gaps in my understanding are filled and mysteries are solved, all in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
   My one suggestion would be to consider giving post-processing a little more time. As a retired graphic designer, many of these concepts are familiar to me, but I wonder whether classmates without that background might find this part of the course quite a steep learning curve. It could perhaps benefit from a few classes of its own.
   It is a privilege to learn from you. Your evolving course is exciting, engaging and genuinely rewarding.

5. I find Rafael Ben Ari to be an incredibly dynamic and engaging speaker and a transformative photography teacher.

   As a speaker, Rafael hooks every audience in with incredible adventures born of his career as a Photographic Journalist in war zones and a seasoned international traveller. His presentation showcases his astounding photography which guides the storyline for the duration of the speech and all too suddenly the spectaular visual experience is over.

   As a teacher, Rafael shares his skills with novices through to amateur photographers in a class format that students of any age can easily understand. Rafael translates the DSLR and mirror-less cameras for their owners to get the best photography results in-camera. Classes are inspired by both Rafael’s photography and peer classmates photography.
   My own photography has improved significantly from being a point-&-fluke photographer to becoming a photographer who better understands how to confidently use many more features of my DSLR camera and is now capable of taking greater photos more consistently.

   I highly recommend anyone interested in improving their DSLR or Mirrorless photography to join one of Rafael’s affordable classes or book in to attend one of his speeches.

6. Term 4 Feedback: The final term of Rafael Ben Ari’s Photography Course at the Camden Haven Community College is a logical conclusion to the previous modules. Individually tailored assignments accounting for student’s strengths to teach planning and organising skills culminating in a professionally presented portfolio for public display. This term long assignment includes famous photographer research and analysis, and discussion of course members’ approaches. The assignment consolidates previous modules’ instruction on technical approaches to particular photographic disciplines and artistic evaluation of photographic elements. Rafael’s teaching style is an effective discourse on comparisons of strengths and weaknesses that is highly inclusive of all the class members’ efforts, drawing on each others’ previous efforts as well accomplished photographers similar efforts.    Your journey in photography is incredibly inspiring, but it was your willingness to speak so openly about the lessons you have learned along the way that made the biggest impact. Hearing about the real-world challenges you faced, and how you overcame them, provided invaluable context that goes far beyond standard technical instruction. 

   Your passion for photography and insights have given me a completely new perspective on how to approach my own photography.

   I have always loved photography from a very young age, capturing life’s wonderful moments. I struggled each week learning how my Lumix Fz 2500 camera operates and you always came out with the correct answer to fix my problem which I really appreciated.

   You asked for some feedback for the next module some more time spent on the technical steps for Adobe Bridge, file organization, Lightroom and mastering manual white balance would be very helpful.
